1) Avoid Protein
The main function of the kidneys is to filter the blood. This removes wastes and excess fluids form the blood stream. One of the main wastes excreted by the kidneys is excess protein from food we eat. This brings us to the point of avoiding excessive protein as a natural cure and remedy for kidney failure. This excessive protein puts increased demand on the nephrons or filtering units in the kidneys thus causing the kidneys to degrade in performance and fail sooner than normal. After 70 years of being on the standard western high protein diet, we will experience on average the loss of one third of our kidney function. However, this is not too important because we have a large reserve of kidney capacity. We can remove one whole kidney and still do a good job of filtering the blood. The damage caused by eating excess protein becomes critical when the tissues in our kidneys have suffered previous loss or damage from other problems such as Chronic Nephritis, Atherosclerosis, Diabetes, donation and drugs such as steroids.
Flax Seeds
When kidney function has been reduced in this way, the excessive protein that is commonly eaten in our Western diet can give us progressive kidney failure, dialysis and kidney transplant. We can effectively aid kidney function by cutting back on the amount of protein we eat. This will greatly reduce the work that must be performed by our kidneys. This is best done with a diet that has starch as its base eliminating dairy and meat products. Prescription medications that are commonly prescribed to provide "protection" for the kidneys are of small benefit and have damaging side effects plus they are expensive. These drugs should be a last resort as a treatment for kidney failure. When kidney disease is present, it is standard mainstream medical protocol to limit the protein intake.
2) Flax Seeds
To naturally cure kidney failure; simmer one tablespoon of flax seeds in about 20 ounces of water with a lid covering it for around five minutes. After five minutes, remove the simmering liquid from the burner and let it sit for ten more minutes with the lid on. Next, you need to strain the seeds and proceed to drink this about six times throughout the day. This will cleanse your kidneys of infections and the legumes from the flax seeds will help to heal away your kidney damage. There aren’t any side effects from using flax seeds; so, you’re free to use them as long as necessary.
3) Apple Cider Vinegar
I have read about apple cider vinegar being a wonderful natural cure for kidney failure. I’m on dialysis and am confident that I can experience renal recovery. It’s interesting that doctors and nurses won’t offer any suggestion to get off dialysis. Could their income be related to this absence of encouragement? I spoke to a woman who said that she didn’t drink apple cider vinegar; but, laid in it at night. She claimed to be healed within nine months.
4) Castor Oil Packs
In response to kidney failure; my natural cure and home remedy has always included the use of Castor Oil Packs. To start out, you’ll need these items: wool flannel, cold pressed castor oil, a piece of plastic, and a heating pad. First, I put the castor oil into a sealed container and add the wool flannel to it. I shake this up really good so that the castor oil has saturated the wool flannel. I then heat up the sealed container in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Next, I place a couple of towels on my bed to lie on, and I place the flannel wool on my kidney area. Lastly, I place the plastic (i.e. garbage bag) on top of the flannel and cover this with the heating pad set on high. Try to leave this on for about an hour and try to visualize the healing of your kidneys. When the hour is up, wash off with a mixture of water and baking soda to get your skin back into proper ph balance. Do this whole process for about five days.
