Actions
Clear heat and promote diuresis, resolve swelling and remove toxicity.
Indications
Dysentery, jaundice due to damp-heat, traumatic injury, sores and boils, urine with blood, sore throat, Chronic Laryngitis, rubella, pinkeye, scabies, hematemesis, hemoptysis, nose bleeding, Urinary Tract Infection, diarrhea due to summer-heat, abdominal pain due to eruptive disease.
Dosage and administration
Decoct 9~15 g (15~30 g of fresh product), or pounded into juice. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.
Cations
It is contraindicated for deficiency-cold.
