Samples of formulae:
Burns or scalding: shan cha hua (baked) grind into powder and mix with sesame oil. Apply to affected areas.
Painful cracked nipples: shan cha hua (baked) grind into powder and mix with sesame oil. Apply to affected areas until healed.
Bleeding not during menstruation: shan cha hua 12 g, ce bo ye 12 g, ai ye (bake into charcoal) 12 g, pu huang 10 g, di yu (bake into charcoal) 10 g. Make into decoction with water. Use as tea. One dosage per day.
Bleeding during defecation: shan cha hua (baked) grind into powder. Use 5 g per week. Or use fresh shan cha hua. Boil with water and use as tea.
Coughing, vomiting blood: shan cha hua (bake until turning into dark color). Add brown sugar. Take 10 g each time; 3 times per day.
Dysentery with blood: red large shan cha hua 20 g. Dry in cool place. Grind into powder. Steam with water. Make into 2 servings.
Injuries from impacts: shan cha hua roots 15 to 20 g. Boil with water. Add yellow rice wine. Drink as tea. Smash appropriate amount of fresh shan cha hua and apply to affected areas.
Abscesses: Smash appropriate amount of washed fresh shan cha hua and apply to affected areas.
Bleeding in hemorrhoids: bake shan cha hua and grind into powder. Take 5 g each time, with drinking water.
