For vomite promoting and for treatment of phlegm heat obstructing the lungs, Obstructive Emphysema, Lung Abscess.
 
Chemical ingredients:
Miscellaneous sterol, saponin, amino acid, cucurbitacin B, D, E, isocucurbitacin B, cucurbitacin B-2-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, α-spinasterol etc.
 
Daly Dosage:
To take orally: 3 to 5 in decoction, or in pills or powder.
For external use: appropriate amount.
 
Samples of formulae:
To induce vomiting: li lu, gua di, Radix Saposhnikoviae (Fangfeng) make into fine powder.
Use a small amount. Take with warm drinking water.

Caution: normal dosage is 0.3 g to 0.9 g.
