Salty, neutral, slightly cold, non-toxic.

Medical functions:
It possesses the effects of: astringent, sedation, detoxification, analgesia. In vivo the  acidic oyster shell (mu li) extract can inhibit polio virus  infection murines reduces mortality.
 
Actions & Indications:
Liver yang ascending with dizziness and blurry vision, lymphadenitis, organ prolapse.
 
Chemical ingredients:
Calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, calcium sulfate, organic compounds, magnesium, aluminum, silicon, ferric oxide etc..
 
Dosage:
10 to 30 g in decoction.

Cautions:
Not to use when the body is weak and with condition of yangxu (yang deficient), or with condition of shenxu (kidney deficient) without heat.
