Medical functions:
In in-vitro sudy, it showed that lu feng fang can inhibit cancer cells of the lungs. Using methylene blue staining method, it showed that lu feng fang is effective in inhibiting the cancer cells of the stomach.
The alcohol, ether or ketone extract of lu feng fang can promote the coagulation of blood. All the extract can strengthen the heart activity, lower blood pressure temporary and possesses diuretic effect.
The oil of lu feng fang can rid of tape worms but due to its toxicity, it is not suitable for that purposes.
The oil of lu feng fang, in concentration, can inhibit the in-vitro heart of frogs. It possesses a strong stimulating effect on kidneys and can cause acute nephritis.

Dosage:
In decoction: 6 to 15 g. For pills and powder: 0.3 to 9 g. External use: appropriate amount.
