Benefit qi and correct yinxu condition. Its qi enhancing effect is not as strong as ren shen (ginseng). It is commonly used as substitute for Ginseng-(Renshen).shtml" target='_blank' title="Radix Ginseng (Renshen)">Radix Ginseng (Renshen), Radix Astragali (Huangqi), in cases of hypertension. Compared to xi yang shen (American ginseng), it is a better choice for correcting yinxu condition.
