Being used in goiter, scrofula, cough, Asthma, Hemorrhoids, runny nose, discomfort in digestive tract, pain in hernia, pain and swelling of testes, as diuretics for edema, and as antipyretic.

4.5 - 15 g
Cautions:
Not to use in cases of pixu (spleen deficient). Some traditional sources mentioned that hai zao is not compatible with gan cao but in clinical application it is being used with gan cao.
