It's done on a specially designed medical bed, and connected to a traction device that is digitalized to suit the level of traction or pull that your spine needs. There is a safety button that will be given to you in case you find it's too uncomfortable, but to be frank, it's so comfortable that it has not been used once by any of our patients (so far) and most of our patients actually fall asleep on it.

The dramatic decrease of pressure in the discs within your spine (the decompression) will help to "draw back in" the bulging of the disc and takes the pressure off the spinal nerves that are pinched by slipped discs. The spinal decompression traction physiotherapy helps to unload your spine and its discs with fairly good results, and is suitable to treat herniated discs, degenerative disc disorder, spinal joint diseases, spinal stenosis, sciatica, facet syndrome and radiculopathy.
