Copyrights to Shanxi TCM book exported to France

Shanxi Science and Technology Press signed an agreement with Paris Editions You Feng, a French publisher, on the rights to publish a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) book during the 24th Beijing International Book Fair which was held from Aug 23 to 27.

The book, written by Li Ke, a veteran TCM doctor, is an account of his experiences treating various diseases which has been reprinted more than 40 times, setting a record for the number of times a professional TCM book has been reprinted.

The traditional Chinese and Japanese versions of the book now sell well overseas. The partnership with Paris Editions You Feng is another achievement that will help promote TCM in France.

Shanxi Science and Technology Press is a culture-related company operating under the framework of the "going out" strategy for Chinese culture. Since 2008, the publisher has exported the copyrights of some 200 books, with the majority focusing on TCM and Chinese martial arts.
