Living Environment
The park is a national eco-demonstration region, hailed in 2004 as the best place to live in Chengdu. Many five-star hotels such as Yufu Hot Springs Hotel have opened in and around the park. In addition, the district is surrounded by world-class tourist attractions, such as Jiuzhaigou Valley, Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area, Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei. Dujiangyan Irrigation System and Mount Qingcheng are also nearby.

Education and Scientific Research
The park has over 30 educational and scientific research institutions, with 9,200 professionals in various fields. They include Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Chengdu University of TCM, Chengdu Normal University, Sichuan Agricultural University, Sichuan Vocational and Technical College of Communications, Chengdu Vocational College of Agricultural Science and Technology, Agricultural Biotechnology Center of Chengdu Branch, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sichuan Academy of Food & Fermentation Industries and Chengdu Hydroelectric Investigation & Design Institute of State Power Corp.

Finance and Insurance
Chengdu serves as the financial center of Southwest China. Good financial services can be provided because a number of domestic and international financial and insurance institutions are located around the industrial park, including Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corp, China Minsheng Bank, Bank of Communications, People’s Insurance Co of China, China Life Insurance Co, Ping An Insurance Co, Pacific Insurance Agency and China Continent Property & Casualty Insurance Co Ltd.

Medical Institutions
