Jar in Shape of an Owl
Neolithic age (Qijia Culture).
Unearthed at Liuwan, Qinghai Province. (Clay mixed with sand. Mouth d: 10.5 cm, bottom d: 7 cm, h: 18.5 cm. There are two holes at the mouth . Used for decocting drugs. Its shape is very similar to that of vessels produced in Liuwan for the same purpose today.
