[Location] Localized in the lateral recumbent position. On the lateral side of the abdomen, 1.8 cun below LR13 (Zhangmen), where the vertical line of the free end of the eleventh rib and the horizontal line of the umbilicus intersect. (Fig.53)
 
[Regional Anatomy] Skin→subcutaneous tissue→obilquus externus abdominis muscle→obilquus internus abdominis muscle→transversus abdominis. Superficial layer, the lateral crural cutaneous branch of the prior branches of the ninth, tenth and eleventh thoracic nerves, and the artery and vein along with them; deep layer, the muscular branches of the prior branches of the ninth, tenth and eleventh thoracic nerves, and the relevant artery and vein.
