[Location] Localized in the erect sitting position or supine position. On the region of the face, lateral to the outer canthus on the lateral side of the orbit. (Fig.49)
 
[Regional Anatomy] Skin→subcutaneous tissue→the orbicularis oculi→the temporal fascia→temporalis. Superficial layer, there are the zygomaticofacial and zygomaticotemporal branches of the zygomatic nerve; deep layer, the anterior and posterior nerves of the deep temporal nerve, and the branches of the anterior and posterior artery and vein of the deep temporal artery and vein.
