[Location] Localized in the prone position or in the lateral recumbent position. On the lateral side of the buttocks, when the patient is in the lateral recumbent position and the thigh is flexed, this point is at the junction of the lateral one-third and medial one-third of the line connecting the greater trochanter and the hiatus of the sacrum. [Regional Anatomy] Skin→subcutaneous tissue→the gluteus maximus→the sciatic nerve→the quadratus femoris. Superficial layer, the distribution of the superior gluteal cutaneous nerve; deep layer, the sciatic nerve, the inferior golueal nerve, the posterior femoral cutaneous nerve, and the inferior gluteal artery and vein.
