Location:
Localized in the lateral recumbent position. On the lateral side of the abdomen, anterior inferior to the anterior superior spine, 0.5 cun anterior and inferior to GB27 (Wushu). (Fig.54)
 
Regional Anatomy:
Skin→subcutaneous tissue→obilquus externus abdominis muscle→obilquus intemus abdominis muscle→transversus abdominis→iliopsoas. Superficial layer, the superficial circumflex iliac artery and vein, the prior branches of the eleventh and twelfth thoracic nerves, the lateral crural cutaneous branch of the first lumbar nerve and the artery and vein along with it; deep layer, the deep circumflex iliac artery and vein, the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve; the prior branches of the eleventh and twelfth thoracic nerves, the muscular branches of the prior branches of the first lumbar nerve and the relevant artery and vein.
