[Location] With the elbows flexed and the palms towards each other or with the arm extended and the palm upwards, on the radial palmar aspect of the forearm, on the line joining LU5 (Chize) and LU9 (Taiyuan), 7 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist.(Fig. 2)
 
[Regional Anatomy] Skin→subcutaneous tissue→brachioradialis→flexor carpi radialis→between flexor digitorum superficialis and pronator teres→flexor pollicis longus. Superficial layer, the cephalic vein and the branches of the lateral branchial cutaneous nerve; deep layer, radial artery, radial vein and the superficial ramus of the radial nerve.
