We treat 30 cases of obesity using acupuncture and Electroacupuncture, ear acupoint pressing, abdominal cupping, satisfying effect is achieved. All the 30 patients are out patients, there are 18 cases of deficiency syndrome, 12 cases of excess syndrome, 8 cases of light obesity, 15 cases of middle obesity, and 7 cases of severe obesity.

Acupuncture points: for deficiency syndrome: Qihaishu (BL24), Guanyuanshu (BL26), Zusanli (ST 36) He-Sea Point (both sides), Tianshu (ST25) Front-Mu Point of the Large Intestine (both sides), Yinlingquan (SP9) He-Sea Point (both sides), Sanyinjiao (SP6) (both sides), plus Electroacupuncture. Ear acupoint selection: internal secretion, spleen, stomach, triple energizer, sympathesis, subcortex, brain. Using the points alternately.

Abdominal cupping: applying Paraffin oil as Lubricants, one big, middle and small cup respectively, moving up and down along Shenque (CV8) until the skill flushing. Result: total effective rate is 96.7%. Follow up: after 6 months, all the patients who are well-healed, with obvious effect or having effect, have no recrudescence.
