1) Cloves as Effective Home Remedy for Halitosis
Cloves have been known as a natural remedy for halitosis for ages. The way to use the cloves is either by drinking a clove tea and also using the tea as a mouthwash. Take about 3 cloves and steep them in hot water. After it is cool drink some of the tea then use the remainder as a mouth wash. Cloves are known as a natural antiseptic!
2) Hygiene
A home remedy for halitosis or "bad breath" is taking good care of your teeth. If you floss your teeth at least once daily and brush your teeth after meals you will notice a big difference in the freshness of your breath. After flossing and brushing I use Listerine as a final step. I take about a capful of Listerine and wash it around in my mouth for 30 seconds. This is an excellent way to help keep your teeth healthy and your breath fresh! It works!!

3) Vegetables
My natural remedy for halitosis is a combination of eating a diet consisting of fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains and pasta. I also take good care of my teeth and have 6 month check -ups with my dentist. The semi-annual tooth cleaning also helps a whole lot. A healthy diet combined with good oral care will help cure your halitosis.
4) Scenar Device
Use a Scenar electro-stimulation device to relieve pain, infection and promote health and healing. Developed in Russia and tested on 18,000 persons in clinical trials. Very effective.
5) Alfalfa Tablets
The way I treat my halitosis is with taking alfalfa tablets daily. I heard about this home remedy for halitosis and tried it myself. It really helps me.
6) Avoid These
A home remedy for halitosis or bad breath is to avoid ingesting alcohol, tobacco, onions, and garlic. These foods are carried through the bloodstream and exhaled through the lungs.
A great home remedy for halitosis is fennel leaves or fennel powder. If you can gain access to fresh fennel leaves just take a couple leaves and chew on them until your mouth creates saliva. If you do not have fresh fennel leaves but some fennel capsules and open them up into a bowl and mix with a little baking soda and then brush your teeth with this mixture. Tom’s toothpaste makes great fennel toothpaste also.
