1) Diet as Home Remedy for Joint Pain
As my dad turned 70 he had symptoms that were very similar to Ankylosing Spondylitis which he had for about 2 years.  There was severe joint pain that would jump from here to there in his body.  The pain was so intense that he really was almost not functional.  He began taking large doses of vitamin C for a couple of months and this appeared to reduce inflammation and he was able to stop taking prednisone.  Last year he had an operation for a hernia and it wouldn’t heal.  The doc had him take a lot of antibiotics for a few weeks to stop infection.  About that time he also started on a plant-based diet and he has stayed on this diet until now.  Since then he has been drug free and pain free.  The difference between how he was and how he is now is like night and day.

2) Fried Garlic
When I have joint pain, my natural remedy is to eat a few garlic cloves that have been fried in clarified butter.  This is good to treat the pain and also serves as a preventative measure.

3) WD-40
My husband worked at a saw mill for ten years and would always suffer from joint pain.  He had his own type of natural cure for the joint pain when it surfaced.  He would get out his can of WD-40 and spray the affected joint and rub it where it was painful.  He also discovered that this worked on his arthritis as well!

4) Apple Cider Vinegar
When you are trying to get rid of the pain and discomfort of joint pain, try this home remedy.  Take one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, one tablespoon of honey, and mix this with one half a cup of warm water to make a special drink.  You should drink this a couple times a day, morning and night.  You should experience good relief with this approach.

5) Peppermint Oil
I suffer from various bone/joint diseases and the best natural remedy for my joint pain is to take a hot bath and rub a certain type of oil on the affected areas.  The oil I use is a mixture of peppermint oil and extra virgin oil.  It may sound a little weird; but, it is actually very effective.  It’s much better than taking a bunch of pain pills.

6) Omega 3
Your diet can impact your health, and this includes symptoms of joint pain.  Try to increase your intake of oils that are rich in Omega – 3 fatty acid and vitamins.  This is a home remedy for your joint pain that is as easy as reaching up into your cupboard.
