Although some say that tea and coffee can aggravate your allergies, this is not entirely true. There are some teas which specialize in increasing your insulin level in order to prevent the anaphylactic shock (this is how your body reacts when you're exposed to the substance you don't tolerate). What you need to do once you have one of these episodes is go to the hospital as quickly as possible and ask for medical assistance. It is true that some of these teas might ameliorate your tolerance towards your allergy trigger, but they cannot cure it and they certainly do not have the effect you want them to have when taken empirically.

Efficient Tea for Allergies
When choosing a Tea for Allergies, you may want to look after the ones with a high calming effect. If you don't know which those are, here's a list to choose from:

- Chamomile Tea – the world's greatest panacea has a soothing effect on you and both your mental and physical status. You can also use it to treat colds, sore throats, flu and various ailments of the digestive tract, thanks to its active ingredients. Chamomile Tea is probably the safest Tea for Allergies and it can successfully replace your morning coffee as well.

- Redbush Tea – is very rich in anti-oxidants, nutrients, enzymes and has anti-inflammatory properties, so it is also a great answer if you are looking for something to treat your menstrual pain, sore throat or stress. However, don’t drink more than 2 cups per day.

- Green Tea – has enough active ingredients to sustain life and it is a great cure for colds, flu and diabetes. However, don't take it if you’re on your period or experiencing menopausal symptoms in order to avoid ulcers.

- Oolong Tea – the Chinese Tea with the lowest caffeine concentration will improve your general health and ameliorate your body's response to allergy triggers. Although it's very rare, Oolong Tea has gained its popularity thanks to a series of uses, such as diabetes treatments and stress decoctions.

- Dandelion Tea – made from the dandelion roots, this Tea for Allergies will increase your antibodies level and lower your elevated heartbeat during anaphylactic shocks. Be careful, though: more than 2 cups per day may lead to diarrhea, since Dandelion Tea is a very strong purgative and diuretic.

- Peppermint Tea – another famous panacea, this Tea for Allergies will enlarge your respiratory ways in order to let you breathe during anaphylactic shocks. It will also improve your general health and give you an energy boost. If you suffer from pleurisy, pulmonary edema or colds, Peppermint Tea is also a good choice.
