1. Spring corresponds to the liver and the gall bladder; summer corresponds to the heart and the small intestine; autumn corresponds to the lung and the large intestine; winter corresponds to the kidney and the urinary bladder. The third, sixth, ninth, and twelfth lunar months orrespond to the four meridians and the spleen and the stomach.
2. If the pulse of the stomach belongs to yang, this will tell you what to eat and not eat in the different seasons.
3. If the critical pulse condition belongs to yin, your time of death can be predicted. As a winter food, mutton belongs to yang. If you eat it in ummer, you will suffer from excessive internal heat. Only by knowing if your pulse is yin or yang can disease be cured.
