INGREDIENTS
Rhizoma Imperatae (Baimaogen), 30g
Fresh lotus root Rhizoma Nelumbinis Recens (cut into Isices), 60g
Polished round-grained rice, Semen Oryzae, Sativae, 100g
Cape jasmine seed powder, Pulvis Fructi Gardeniae, 6g
PROCESS: First decoct the cogongrass rhizome in water and remove the dregs from the decoction; then make gruel out of the decoction, the rice and the lotus root slices, and when the gruel is nearly done, mix the capejasmine seed powder with it and go on cooking for a few minutes.
DIRECTIONS: To be taken twice on the same day. Those who suffer from hemorrhage of upper digestive tract of liver-fire type can take it as an auxiliary treatment.
