1) Dried tangerine (Fructus Citri Reticulatae)
Soak some dried tangerines in boiling water. Take the water as a drink.
2) Barley (Fructus Hordei)
Grind some barley into pieces as big as millets, then make gruel with the barley and take it.
3) Orange (Fructus Aurantii)
Soak oranges in water to remove the sour flavour, add honey to make decoction. Take it as a drink in smalL doses at short intervals.
4) Radish (Napus)
Make soup with radish, flavour it with condiments before taking it. Those suffering from Painful Menstruation caused by stagnation of the liver-qi can choose any of the above recipes for age.
5) Juice of Chinese chive root (Bulbus Allii Tuberosi)
Sqeeze 100g of Chinese chive roots to get juice; stew it and takes it warm. It is indicated for dysmenorrhea due to blood stasis caused by accumulation of cold.
6) Chinese-date (Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae)
Have several Chinese-dates dried on the fire; then decoct them in water for drinking. It is applicable to Painful Menstruation due to deficiency of qi and blood.
