INGREDIENTS
Rhizome of wind, weed, Rhizoma Anemarrhenae (Zhimu) 60g
Fragrant solomonseal rhizome, Rhizoma Polygonati Odorati (Yuzhu) 60g
Honey, Mel 1000g
PROCESS: Have the rhizome of wind-weed and fragrant solomonseal rhizome washed clean quickly and put in an earthen-ware pot; add 1500ml of cold water and heat it over a slow fire until 500ml is left; filter out the first extract; add 700ml of cold water and heat it until 300ml is left, filter out the second extract and remove the dregs. Pour the first and second ex- tract and honey into a big porcelain basin, and then cover it properly. Steam it for two hours over a brisk fire with the drags not contacting water. Then, stop steaming, let it cool, put it in a bottle and seal the bottle.
DIRECTIONS: Take 15ml each time, three times a day, with warm boiled water after meals.
