INGREDIENTS
Chinese angelica root, Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui) 10g
Dangshen, Radix Codonopsis (Dangshen) 10g
Chinese yam, Rhizoma Dioscoreae (Shanyao) 10g
Pig kidney 500g
Soy sauce, vinegar, shredded ginger, mashed garlic, sesame oil, (just the right amount for each)
PROCESS: Cut the pigs kidney open, remove the fasciae and the renal pelvis, and wash it clean; put Chinese angelica roots, dangshen and Chinese yam into a gauze bag, tie up its opening and put it together with the pigs kidney in an aluminium pan; add just the right amount of water, have the ingredients boiled in clear soup (without soy sauce) until the pig kidney is well done. Take the kidney out and let it cool. Cut it into thin slices, put it on a plate and then mix it with soy sauce, vinegar, shredded ginger, mashed garlic and sesame oil.
DIRECTIONS: Take it with bread or cooked rice.
EFFICACY: Nourishing the blood, replenishing qi and invigorating the kidney.
INDICATIONS: Palpitation, shortness of breath, pain and soreness of waist, Insomnia, spontaneous perspiration and other symptoms due to deficiency of qi and blood accompanied with deficiency of the kidney.
