Questions about a career in neuropsychology? Health Consultation Description: Hi. I am a sophomore at Las Positas Community Collegea, and I am majoring in psychology. Recently, a professor from my university informed me of the future troubles that I may encounter with a psychology major -- namely, not being able to do much with it. She suggested that I do some research pertaining to available career options with a psychology degree. Well, I did just that, and I was more than intrigued by neuropsychology. I am so much more happier with myself and school ever since I switched my major to psychology, and I would really like to continue with it. I was just wondering if anyone could offer me more information about neuropsychology and the different careers and options within the field. Also, which classes would be the most beneficial to an undergraduate interested in neuropsychology? Are there any fields within neuropsychology that relate to sociology? If not, is there a better minor that I could look into pursuing? I apologize for any redundancy in my questions, but I would be most appreciative of any response that my post will generate.
