This is a herbal remedy for nourishing the vital energy or qi. It can be used for eliminating problems with spontaneous deficiency of blood and qi that results in sallow and pale complexion, increased palpitations, breathlessness, weakness, lethargy, laziness, dizziness, appetite loss, pale tongue, feeble pulse rate, whitish fur and sickness. This Chinese medicine has been designed for women with complex problem related to qui and its deficiency. It has also been used to treat anemia, which is triggered due to the deficiency of energy and blood. Some other conditions that can be reduced with this formula are heavy bleeding during periods, menstrual pain and cramping and myasthenia of limbs.

Safety:
Cautions & Contraindications: Contraindicated during pregnancy and menstruation. Contraindicated for very weak or deficient patients. Use with caution in breast-feeding women as Da huang/rhubarb can pass through the breast milk causing colic and diarrhea in infants. May cause mild abdominal cramping and/or diarrhea in sensitive patients. Use with caution in Spleen deficient patients with a tendency to loose stools, diarrhea, poor appetite or chronic digestive weakness.
