Chinese Herbal Formula for Stressful Conditions

Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) is indigenous to the Arctic and Alpine regions of Europe, Asia and America and has long been used as a tonic by many cultures, including the Ancient Greeks. Rhodiola is generally known as an "adaptogen", a term which refers to any agent possessing the ability to increase the body's capacity to adapt to stressful conditions. This formula contains standardized extract of min. 3% total Rosavins and min. 1% Salidrosides.

Rhodiola, also known as the "golden root", is one of over 200 different species of Rhodiola, 20 of which are currently used in traditional herbal systems in China and the rest of Asia. This ancient herb has been used in traditional herbal systems of Eastern Europe and Asia for hundreds of years as a means to support the nervous system, reduce fatigue, and support stamina.

Chemical analysis of the genus Rhodiola has isolated a number of naturally occurring compounds found in the roots and above ground parts of the plant that provide Rhodiola's adaptogenic properties. Rhodiola rosea differs from other species in the genus due to three unique phytochemicals that only occur in this particular species rosavin, rosin, and rosarin (collectively referred to as rosavins). Researchers believe these phytochemicals are responsible for the unique characteristics found in the Rhodiola rosea species.

Suggested Use:
As an herbal dietary supplement, take 1 Vcaps 1 - 2 times daily, preferably with meals.

Ingredients:
Each capsule contains 500mg Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) Extract (Root), standardized to a minimum of 3% total Rosavins and 1% Salidrosides. Free of: sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk and preservatives. Other Ingredients: Cellulose (capsule), Cellulose and Silica.
