For treatment of: influenza with fever, Chronic Nephritis with Edema, urinary tact infection, urination difficulty, whooping cough, Diabetes, boils, snake bites, neuralgia, calculi, rheumatoid arthritis, Eczema of children.
Can be used for promoting vomiting (emetic), as laxatives, improving digestion.
Dosage:
15 to 30 g in decoction.
External use: appropriate amount. Smash and apply to affected areas.
Samples of formulae:
Difficulty in urination: dao di ling 15 g. Make into decoction and use as tea.
Diabetes: fresh dao di ling 60 g. Make into decoction and use as tea.
Injuries from impacts: dao di ling 9 to 15 g. Grind into powder. Take with rice wine.
Whooping cough: dao di ling 9 to 15 g. Add rock sugar. Make into decoction and use as tea.
Eczema: dao di ling, appropriate amount. Make into decoction. Wash affected area with the decoction.
