Property
Sweet, mild, slightly cold; heart, lung and small intestine meridians entered.

Actions
Clear away the heart fire and reduce pathogenic fire, induce diuresis and treat stranguria.

Indications
Stranguria, Edema, damp-heat jaundice, upset insomnia, difficult urination, Chronic Pharyngitis, nocturnal fretfulness infinfants, trauma.

Dosage and administration
Decoct 1~3 g or 15~30 g of the fresh product, or made into pill or powder. Mixed with cinnabar when treating upset insomnia. Proper dosage is for external application, stir-bake it into charcoal and then grind into powder for sprinkling, or pounded for applying with fresh product.

Cations
It is contraindicated in case of urinary incontinence or deficiency-cold in lower energizer.
