Properties (characteristics):
Bitter, sweet,  slightly cold

Channels (meridians) entered:
Bladder and lung

Actions & Applications:
Clears damp-heat and unblocks painful urinary dysfunction, Gonorrhea, cough and for expelling phlegm
 
Dosage:
6 to 12 g.
 
Chemical ingredients:
Saponins, tanin, anthraquinones, beta-sitosterol, mangiferin, isomangiferin, trifolin, kaempferol, diploptent, fumaric acid, allomuleic acid, boletic acid, caffeic acid, 2-butenedioic acid, chlorogenic acid, fructose, glucose, resin and cane sugar.

1. Chronic Bronchitis
2. Asthma
3. Acute inflammation of glomerulus of the kidneys
4. Ureter stones
5. Chyluria 6 anemia caused by benzene toxicity.
