My wife is of the opinion that I don't pay her anywhere near what she deserves.
She wouldn't touch them at any price! Now strangely enough, I agree with my wife, but for very different reasons.
This lady is a reflexologist and has now been treating me regularly for over ten years. Why, you may ask. I'll tell you! Because my sinuses were in a terrible mess! Having been born and brought up in Leeds, where the ducks flew backwards to keep the soot out of their eyes, I suffered all the variations of catarrh and regularly suffered from sinusitis which resulted in bleeding.
For years doctors had prescribed a variety of medicines and offered to scrape out my nasal cavities. When I asked whether this treatment would cure the condition, they more or less said they didn't know, but it might help. My wife bought me a session with my reflexologist as a Christmas present. I had little faith that this would help my problem so I didn't book another appointment. When my wife told my therapist that I had developed a cold following treatment and that my nose had been running for a month, she said that this could be the result of her starting treatment but as I hadn't returned to complete the recommended course she had been unable to help me further.
As my condition was severe and I had not found relief elsewhere I decided to set aside my scepticism and continue treatment.
Over the course of about six treatments reflexology had cleared my nasal passages. I hadn't been able to breath through my nose properly for around thirty years.
In those six treatments the lady did what the doctors had failed to do over many years. Of course, it didn't completely cure the problem because my sinuses are scarred and I do need regular treatment, hence a lady handling my feet on a monthly basis! However, this treatment has contributed to my quality of life on a continuous basis, and my wife is only too happy to pay for it!
I would recommend reflexology to anyone.
