Crohn's disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease that can affect any part of the digestive tract from the mouth to the anus , and most frequently involved the last segment of the small intestine , the ileum . The disease is chronic and each patient develops differently ; there are people with severe symptoms with frequent exacerbations , and others who have long periods without symptoms even without treatment. Most patients achieve a nearly normal quality of life for most of the time. This disease is most common in northern European countries , Canada and the US, while in the countries of southern Europe , Asia and Africa there is less affected. It can occur with equal frequency in men and women , and is usually diagnosed between 20 and 30 years , although sometimes diagnosed in children , even in infants under one year.

Natural remedies for blood in the stool
Prevent constipation by using a stool softener such as Aloe Vera juice, slippery elm powder or oats (porridge)

Psyllium husks may be taken with a large glass of water at night to encourage bowel movement and elimination of feces in constipation.  Please ensure that you are not dehydrated (drink plenty of water) if you decide to take psylllium
