Common symptoms: Aversion to cold and cold limbs, accompanied by pale complexion, bland taste and absence of thirst, spontaneous sweating; or clear voluminous urine, loose stools, sunken slow and weak pulse.
Tongue manifestations: In yang deficiency with cold syndrome, the tongue is pale and the fur whitish(Fig. 3 - 16).

In yang deficiency with dampness syndrome, the tongue is pale, tender and swollen, and the fur is whitish and slippery(Fig.3- 17); in yang deficiency with qi-blood stagnation syndrome, the tongue is lightly purple and swollen(Fig.3-18).
