The so called "thrusting-wrenching manipulations" refer to those movements in which the suffered joint is driven to move to a specific direction and break the pathological or the physiological limitation by double forces from opposite directions so as to reach the purpose of separating adhesion or restoring dislocation (Fig.202). They are called Thrusting-Wrenching Manipulations for they are usually completed by thrusting or (and) wrenching.
