Location
Localized in the kneeling position or in the prone position. Below the tip of the coccyx, at the midpoint between the tip of the coccyx and the anus. (Fig.68)
Regional Anatomy
Skin--subcutaneous tissue--anococcygeal ligament. Superficial layer, the distribution of the posterior ramus of the coccygeal nerve; deep layer, the branch of the pudendal nerve, the anal nerve, the branches or the subordiantial ramus of the internal pudendal artery and vein, the anal artery and vein.
