[Location] Localized in the erect sitting position, when knee is slightly flexed, the point is on the medial side of the poplitea] fossa, between the tendons of m. semitendinosus and semimembranosus. (Fig.40)
 
[Regional Anatomy] Skin→subcutaneous tissue→between the tendons of semitendinosus and Semimenbranosus→the medial head of gastroenemius.Superficial layer, the distribution of the medial femoral cutaneous nerve and subcutaneous vein; deep layer, the branches or the subordiantial ramus of the arteries and veins on the medial aspect of knee.
