Infertility is not always an easy problem to solve. While modern technology has made conception easier for a lot of people, some people prefer to try a more natural, less invasive method like acupressure before going the conventional route.
See your doctor first
Before attempting alternative treatments, women should see their doctors to make sure there is no physiological problem. Acupressure won’t work if there is something wrong with the body.
Designed to help blood and energy flow to affected areas
Acupressure is an ancient Chinese art that stimulates certain pressure points on the body associated with healing. Once stimulated, the body reacts in positive ways. The body relaxes, blood and energy flows.
At home or with a professional
Certain areas of the body are associated with specific organ or body functions. Acupressure for infertility can be done at home with the help of a partner or done by a professional. Try these moves:
1. Place your right palm below the belly button and gently rub clockwise for approximately one minute. Increase the pressure as you rub.
2. Place the pad of the thumb on the points a little higher than the waist, two fingerwidths on both sides of the spine. Gently press the area for about two minutes.
3. Use the tips of the index, middle, ring and little fingers to tap the tailbone area along the central line for one minute.
4. Put both palms on the sacrum are. Scrub from the bottom up until warm.
5. Use the thumb or index finger to gently press and knead all these pressure points until a warm sensation develops.
Remember to relax and enjoy. Try a daily routine for several weeks or more if you like.
