The writer treats 40 cases of children’s migraine using Chinese medicine combing with acupuncture and gains obvious effect, the experience is reported in the following. There are 80 children outpatients, they are randomly divided into two groups, 40 cases in treatment group and 40 cases in contrast group, the children are 7 to 18 years old. The disease history is from 2 weeks to 2 years.

Treatment method:
For treatment group: selected points: Baihui (GV20) penetrates to Si Shen Cong, Fengchi (GB20), Fenglong (ST 40) Luo-Connecting Point, Taichong (LR 3) Shu-Stream, Yuan-Source Point, Touwei (ST8) penetrates to Yangbai (GB 14), Shuaigu (GB8) penetrates to Fubai (GB10), Waiguan (TE5) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point. All the points are from affected side. Apart from ST40 and LR3 are needled by reducing method, all the other points are needled by mild reinforcing-reducing method, needle retaining for 20 minutes, needling manipulation one time in every 5 minutes’ interval, 5 times are one course.

Basic Chinese medicine prescription: Ban Xia 10g, Fu Ling 12g, Chen Pi 10g, Bai Zhu 10g, Sheng Jiang 3 slides, Tian Ma 10g, Dang Gui 15g, Bai Shao 10g, Chuan Xiong 10g, Man Jing Zi 10g, Gan Cao 6g. For contrast group: oral taking Zheng Yuan Nao Ning tablet, 2 tablets per time, 3 times per day, 7 days are one course. Observe the effect after 3 courses. Adding Naproxen 10mg per time when the migraine attacks.

Treatment result:
As to the 40 cases in the treatment group, total effective rate is 95%, for the 40 cases in the contrast group, total effective rate is 75%. Comparing the two groups, the difference is of obvious significance (P<0.05).
