Cupping (Suction cup) treatment is effective for Haemorrhoids

TCM holds that haemorrhoids are mainly caused by thinness and elasticity-losing of vein wall, unhealthy diet and internal dryness-heat, subsidizing of large intestine, qi and blood stasis due to unsmooth blood circulation, the contradicting of blood and heat caused by long-time sitting, weight loading, long traveling.

Location cupped and methods:
Acupoints selected: Huiyang, Baihuaishu, Dachangshu (BL25), Chenshan and the special site of lumbosacral area(the color is red lilac or pink with slight eminence, the shape as needle cap).

Cupping methods:
You should use the acupuncture needles to prick the above acupoints. After the patient gets some feeling, you should use cupping after flash of fire to suck the pricked sites for 10-20 minutes once a day and six times as a treatment period. Or you can select 2-3 special sites and use cupping of venesection to suck them for 10-15 minutes once every other day and six times as a treatment circle.
