This disease is similar to dizziness and headache in TCM. It is usually caused by emotional factors, constitutional defects, diet and overstrain that lead to imbalance of yin and yang in the liver, spleen and kidney, eventually resulting in hyperactivity of liver fire, or phlegm disturbing the upper, or frequent asthenia of kidney yin and failing of yin to control yang. It may be caused by consumption of yin involving yang and asthenia of both yin and yang in prolonged disease.
Location cupped and methods:
Acupoints selected: group one, Dazhui, Ganshu (BL 18), Xinshu (BL15), Lingtai, Pishu (BL20), Shenshu (BL23)
group two, inside circulation line of cystis and seventh cervical vertebra to the sacroiliac of DU meridian. Quchi, Zusanli or sanyinjiaoxue
Methods:
You should use a triangle-edged needle or dermal needle stick into each acupiont before covering cups on the acuptions for 10-15 minutes, and only take one group of acupoint by means of venesected cupping, leave the cup for ten to fifteen minutes. Caution that you do it once a group every other day.
Otherwise, you could take the second group of acupoints. First, you should put lubricant on the patiet’s back and move the cups on the skin until it appears purple. Then you should cup on the acuptions of Quchi, Zusanli or Sanyinjiao for ten to fifteen minutes. Caution that you should do it once a day or once every other day.
