People with kidney stones may have pain while urinating, see blood in the urine, or feel a sharp pain in the back or lower abdomen. The pain may last for a short or long time. People may experience nausea and vomiting with the pain. However, people who have small stones that pass easily through the urinary tract may not have symptoms at all. 1. Pattern of Excessive Damp-heat in the Body
Main symptoms: dinas in the urine, difficult to urinate, interrupt when passing water, stabbing pain, urgent and frequent urination, lower abdomen contracture, turbid urine, red tongue, thin pulse.
2. Pattern of Qi and Blood Stagnation
Main symptoms: stabbing pain in the waist, pain in the ribs and abdomen, hematuria after backache, dull-red urine, blood streak or blood clot in the stool, light red tongue, yellow coating, thin pulse.
