    Decoction of Stalk Pith of Sunflower for Urinary Stone

    INGREDIENTS
    Stalk pith of fresh sunflower, Medulla Hellianthi annui  50g (Or 20g of that of dried sunflower)
    Talc, Talcum  10g
    Bee Honey (Fengmi)   1 spoonful

    decoction of stalk pith of sunflower for urinary stone

    PROCESS: Decoct in 1000 ml of cold water the first two ingredients in an earthenware pot; when the liquid is boiled down to 300ml, sift the decoction from the dregs and mix honey into it.
    DIRECTIONS: To be taken as a drink every day. This recipe can treat stranguria and is good for diuresis, and what is more, it has no side effect.  It can also relieve summer-heat when drunk in summer.
