Soup of Mung Bean for Pharyngitis (Image)

INDREDIENTS
Mung bean, Semen Phaseoli Radiati  50g
White sugar  20g

PROCESS: Wash the mung beans dean, add 1000 ml of cold water and heat it over a mild fire; add white sugar when it boils.  Go on heating with the pot covered for about 20 minutes from the moment it resumes boiling, until the mung beans have split open, the skins still green (haven't become brown yet), then, stop heating.

DIRECTIONS: It isn't advisable to have the mung beans cooked thoroughly, or, the curative effect may be reduced.
This can be used as a dietetic therapeutic recipe to be used frequently by patients suffering from Chronic Pharyngitis, especially suitable for oral use in summer.
