INGREDIENTS
Black soybean, Semen Sojae Nigrum 500g
Dogwood fruit, Fructus Corni 10g
Poria (Fuling), 10g
Chinese angelica root, Radix Angelicae Sinensis 10g
Mulberry, Fructus Mori 10g
Prepared rehmannia root, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata (Shudihuang) 10g
Psoralea fruit, Fructus Psoraleae 10g
Dodder seed, Semen Cuscutae 10g
Eclipta, Herba Ecliptae 10g
Schisandra fruit, Fructus Schisandrae (Wuweizi) 10g
Wolfberry fruit, Fructus Lycii 10g
Wolfberry bark, Cortex Lycii Radicis 10g
Sesame seed, Semen Sesami Nigrum 10g
Salt, Sal Communis 100g
PROCESS: Soak the black soybeans in lukewarm water for 30 minutes; put the other drugs listed ahove (except the salt) into a gauze bag, tie it up, then, put it in an aluminium pan; add just the right amount of water to heat it; take out decoction once every 30 minutes and put it in a basin; add water into the luminium pan to heat it again; thus, make and take out decoction four times altogether; put all the decoction into the aluminium pan. Put black soybeans into the pan containing the decoction and put in the salt; heat it over a strong fire until the decoction has boiled, then change to a low fire until the; decoction has run dry. Dry the black soybeans in the sun. Put the black soybeans into a china pot (or a bottle) for later use.
DIRECTIONS: Chew as many as your appetite permits.
EFFICACY: Tonifying and replenishing the vital essence of the kidney to strengthen the muscles and bones.
INDICATIONS: Giddiness, Tinnitus, Sudden Deafness, emaciation, frequent micturition, Nocturnal Emission, soreness in the loins and pain in the legs, flaccidity of extremities and other symptoms caused by insufficiency of the vital essence of the kidney and deficiency of the kidney-yin.
