Omega-3 fatty acids are used for facial paralysis
Health Consultation Description: I had a blood clot burst on my facial nerve after having a mastoidectomy. That was almost 11 years ago. I have had very slight improvement from when it first happened. I can sip on a straw, drink from a cup, etc that I couldn't do. My eyelid closes with the help of a gold weight. But, I've noticed that my smile, such as it was, is getting worse. I am having my nose repaired because it is starting to collapse. What are my options? Will I continue to get worse? Is it too late for other help?

Can severed nerve in the foot lead to facial paralysis?
Health Consultation Description: I had a basil cell carcinoma removed from the planter on my left foot 2 weeks ago. I developed Bell's Palsy the following day and my foot is still in excruciating pain. I also have severe shooting pain behind my right ear and in the back of my head near the mastoid bone. Is it possible that the surgeon severed the planter nerve and could that have precipitated the onset of the Bell's Palsy? I find it very peculiar that this happened not even 24 hours after the procedure.
