Yin Jun Mei, Famous Chinese Black Tea

Yin Jun Mei is the name of this unique and rare red tea. In Chinese, the name is written Yinjunmei, which translates as "Silver Eyebrows". This tea is grown in the Fujian Province. In a small tea-producing village, 50 kilometres (about 30 miles) from Wuyi city. We do not know the name of the village. We've never been there. And I do not personally know the people who grow this tea. We have no idea how the tea is processed, and we do not know its production technology.

But once upon the time, we opened the sack with this tea and took a full breath of its aroma. At this same moment, the world disappeared. Just disappeared.

In fact, it is better to refrain from such experience because you can lose your head from this emotional overload.

Be careful with this tea! Inhale but only slightly, try it, but carefully. It's too awesome!

To tell you a secret, Yin Jun Mei tea has an older brother – Jin Jun Mei, "Golden Eyebrows" – and that one is entirely out of bounds. And is rightly considered at the top level of Chinese red teas. But that is another story.
