Acute laryngitis treated by reflexology

This is an acute condition with hoarse voice and dysphonia.

Acute laryngitis in modern medicine can be treated by the following methods.
   
Applications of hand therapy:

 Acupuncture therapy:

At regular and extra acupoints:
   
Location: Neiguan (PC6), Hegu (LI 4), Shangyang (LI 1), Shaoshang (LU 11 )

Method of manipulation: Bleeding therapy is applied at Shangyang (LI 1) and Shaoshang (LU 11) acupoints: and the routine acupuncture is applied at Neiguan (PC6) and Hegu (LI 4) with strong needling stimulation and retention of needles for 30 minutes.
  
At reflective points:
   
Location: Throat point and tonsil point.

Method of manipulation: The needles are inserted for 1 cm and retained for five minutes.
  
Hand bath:

Recipe: Lashiosphaera fenzli (Mabo) 15 g, Rhizoma Belamcandae (Shegan) 15 g, Fructus Perillae (Zisuzi) 15 g, Taraxacum platycarpum (Pugongying) 30 g, Flos Lonicerae (Jinyinhua) 30 g, Fructus Arctii (Niubangzi)  30 g, Herba Menthae (Bohe)  6 g.
  
Function: To relieve toxicity and sore throat.
  
Method of manipulation: A hot decoction of these herbs is used to steam and wash both hands for 20 minutes, two to three times a day.
