Stomach disease is either asthenic or sthenic. Sthenic stomach disease is usually caused by exogenous pathogenic factors attacking the stomach and improper diet, leading to the formation of stomach cold, stomach heat and retention of food in the stomach. Asthenic stomach disease is usually caused by improper diet, excessive vomiting and diarrhea, impairment of yin by febrile disease, spleen asthenic involving the stomach and other acute and chronic diseases that impair the stomach and lead to asthenic cold in the stomach and consumption of stomach yin.
